about two year ago I bought a car from a local dealer on a sale when they brought in sales people and loan personal from out of state. The loan officer call himself a mircal worker, and said we needed to fill a loan app. out I make about $800.00 a month and I thought it was useless as this deal was for 19,000 dollars. Needles to said ten minutes later I got the loan and drove off the lot with the car one of the salesman came home with me to get the trade in this happened last of week of June, 2007. The payment on this loan was $450. dollars a month witch they convinched me I could make. The first week of July my husband was in the hospital with a heart attack for a week, the next month he was back in the hospital with another heart attach for a week again. He is in poor heath with heart problems, COPD lung disease and DJD joint disease, his is on SSDI, but I make to much money for SSI I have heath problem too with no heath ins. We were remodling our own home when this started, but with all of his heath poblems the house is unfinished, we are behinde with all of the bill and some of the medial bill are in collecition, I was makeing the car payment of $450. a month but some of the other bill start getting unpayed. I want to refiniced the car with the bank who gave me the first loan and found out the loan app. showed that I was making 3400.00 dollars a month when I was only making about $800.dollars a month and they wouldn't redo the loan.So I went to CITI auto to refiniced the loan the payment came down to $390.00 a month. I robbed peter to pay Paul. Paul being the car payment for six months but we were getting way behind in the other bills so I call CITI to refiniced the loan and found out they did not went to refiniced again. So to make a long story short I told the bank to come get the car that I couldn't make the payment any more. We bought a different car that I could afford last Oct. because I thought they would take the other car, this was around six month ago, the car is still in the diverway at my home. I was hopeing to find a grant to help pay medial bills, collecition bills, and stud. loans off.
